Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities:
A postdoctoral research position is available to work on an NIH-funded project. The position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in Structural Biology to study the functions of NS1 proteins from Parvoviruses using X-Ray Crystallography, Cryo-EM, SAXS and other techniques.

Minimum Hiring Standards:
- The candidate should have a PhD degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structural Biology or a related field, and prior experience in molecular biology, cell culture, protein expression, purification and characterization.
Preferred Hiring Standards:
- The candidates should have excellent verbal and written scientific communication skills with experience in writing proposals and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications
- Ability to design and perform experiments, and to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation through electronic and notebook means
- Ability to work independently as well as ability to work professionally and efficiently within the research group as a team player
