Fleet Synthetic Training Warfare Facilitator
Contingent upon Contract Award
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Fleet Synthetic Training Warfare Facilitator who will be key in providing technical support to Tactical Training Group Pacific (TACTRAGRUPAC/TTGP), In San Diego, CA.
  • Tactical Training Group, Pacific's (TTGP) and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific's (EWTGPAC) primary mission is to train Carrier Strike Groups (CSG), Expeditionary Strike Groups (ESG) and Amphibious Ready Groups (ARG) of Commander in THIRD and SEVENTH Fleets; I and III Marine Expeditionary Forces in doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures. TTGP and EWTGPAC training immerses staffs in operations in current and emerging warfare areas as well as integrated Naval, Joint, Coalition and Combined environments to achieve Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP), Seventh Fleet Training Plan (SFTP), Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) Pre-deployment Training Program (MEU (SOC) PTP) and Joint Training Plan requirements. In addition, TTGP and EWTGPAC provide Strike Group / ARG / MEU commanders a forum for assessing readiness and a means to examine the application of existing war plans, crisis action planning and Joint Task Force (JTF) contingency operations.
Job Description:
  • Valkyrie is seeking experienced, mission-focused professionals to support Tactical Training Group, Pacific (TTGP) and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific (EWTGPAC) as a Fleet Synthetic Training Warfare Facilitator.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise and serve as a mentor in support of classroom and simulation-based war games (both in-house and distributed as part of Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) and Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) events).
  • Provide verbal and written critiques and evaluations as required.
  • Maintain tactical and technical proficiency through attendance of Fleet Seminars, Working Groups, and constant review of Fleet Publications, TACMEMO's/TACNOTES/and Fleet Operations Orders/OPTASKS
Qualifications:
  • Must have 10 years' Naval tactical experience implementing and executing real-world or simulated unit tactics.
  • 5 years' experience as a Naval Officer or Chief Petty Officer or equivalent.
  • Qualification as TAO or aircraft mission commander or Information Operations Watch Officer or equivalent warfare area qualification.
  • 5 years' experience developing and executing tactical team training.
*Equivalent civilian naval wargaming SME experience is an acceptable offset for years of experience*
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in MPRA or Rotary Wing preferred.
Security Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain one.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel- less than 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
