Job Description and Qualifications
A postdoctoral scholar position is available to work on an NIH-funded R01 project using functional and structural MRI to assess the impact of a reading intervention on comprehension in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The position is in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in the Cognition, Brain and Autism Laboratory (www.uab.edu/cbra) headed by Dr. Rajesh Kana.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in an appropriate field, be motivated and have prior experience with programming and imaging data analysis. Prior research experience in the field of autism spectrum disorders, computational methods and diffusion imaging is a plus. The successful applicant will be responsible for aspects of study coordination and team oversight.
