Position Summary | The Graves lab at UNC-Chapel Hill is looking for Postdoctoral fellow to work on the research project which is focused on studying the biological consequences of small molecule mitochondrial protease (ClpP) activators in breast cancer. The desired candidate will have advanced training in applications of mass spectrometry to study proteomics and metabolomics.Proposed experiments will include culturing cancer cells, performing western blots, enzymatic assays, planning and analysis of mouse studies and preparing cell surface proteins for proteomics |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | PhD in a relevant field such as Biochemistry, Pharmacology or Cell Biology. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Experience performing western blots, enzymatic assays, planning and analysis of mouse studies and preparing cell surface proteins for proteomics. . Familiarity with combining multi-omics responses to study cancer is required.The candidate will be selected based on their publication record and relevant experience in the field. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | The desired candidate will have advanced training in applications of mass spectrometry to study proteomics and metabolomics.Experience with fluorescence microscopy, RT-PCR, apoptosis/senescence assays and data analysis is requested |
