A postdoctoral position is available at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the laboratory of Jason R. Becker. The primary focus of the laboratory is the study of the genetic and molecular pathways that contribute to the development of myocardial hypertrophy and heart failure. The lab utilizes multiple different types of experimental models including transgenic murine models. There is a translational component to the research performed in the laboratory with the integration of human tissue samples and human induced pluripotent stem cell cardiomyocytes in our research projects. https://www.vumc.org/becker-lab/
