Government Cost Reporting Analyst - 129921

Job Description

This position is based 100% Onsite. Not a remote position.

DESCRIPTION

This position involves third-party reimbursement reporting requirements and contractual allowances monitoring. Includes the provision of annual Medicare, Medi-Cal, and state disclosure cost reports, monitors reimbursement regulation changes and estimates the effect on the medical center's financial position. You will function independently with full understanding of healthcare reimbursement to execute the revenue cycle workflow. Completes complex projects and tasks at all levels of scope and complexity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training i.e. government cost reporting, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training i.e. government cost reporting.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare reimbursement revenue cycle workflow, financial reporting, net revenue analysis and budgeting to effectively and independently capture revenue.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Medi-Care and Medi-Cal Cost Reporting experience.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
