Overview

A full-time postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Roger Belizaire at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).

The laboratory is situated in the Department of Pathology at DFCI, within a vibrant community of translational and basic research that includes Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Broad Institute.

Responsibilities

The position will involve the study of myeloid neoplasms and will lead to significant experience in a wide range of techniques, including cell culture, genome engineering, protein biochemistry, flow cytometry, genetic screening, RNAseq, proteomics, and human tissue biomarker analysis. Developing independence will be fostered and opportunities for inter-laboratory, multidisciplinary collaboration will also be readily available.

Qualifications

Highly motivated and accomplished PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with prior experience in laboratory research and a strong background in one or more of the following areas: protein biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, cancer biology, cancer genetics, immunology.
