Post Doctoral Associate

Job Description


Two Post-Doctoral trainee positions are available at the University of Rochester within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology to support research in antimicrobial drug discovery and development.  Successful applicants should have a strong background in microbiology, translational research, molecular genetics, and/or analysis of pre-clinical or complex datasets.  Individuals with experience in animal models of infection and pharmacology highly encouraged to apply.  A Ph.D. in a relevant field and strong demonstration of research accomplishments is required.  Individuals must be able to work efficiently with a highly integrated research team, yet independently develop and perform studies and quickly interpret data in real time.  Applicants should email a cover letter, CV, and contact information for at least three references to Paul_Dunman@urmc.rochester.edu  and Rachel_wozniak@urmc.rochester.edu.
